Sarasota really has something for everyone, whether its the shopping and dining on St Armands Key 1:34, the golfing on Longboat Key 2:53, or the vacation get aways on Lido Key 1:59, and Siesta Key 4:32. The roads lined with Palm trees which we show with some creatively placed goPros. We had to show this beautiful city from both the air and ground. One of the first things you’ll notice, entering the Bayfront Waterfront Park area in downtown is the “Unconditional Surrender Statue” 1:10, celebrating victory in Europe in WWII of a Sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square. We ended this video with this memorial to a great moment in our country’s history. Marina Jack is the Harbor which has a very popular waterfront dining room, as well as cruises . Also in Bayfront Park is the Childrens fountain.

The nice thing about Sarasota Beaches is the tend to be not as crowded as the beaches in St Petersburg / Clearwater Area. The sand is alittle cleaner, the ocean alittle clearer.

We also had to feature Sieasta Key. In 2017 Siesta Key was voted #1 Beach in the country by Trip Advisor. Siesta Key really has a small town feel with its Siesta Key Village. There are plenty of condo rentals for lodging near its 2 different beaches on the key.

Do you like nature, Sarasota the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens 3:33 and the Mote Marine Aquarium at 2:47. If you just want to hang out in a park, the Ken Thompson Park, with a boardwalk through a nature preserve 2:39 or the Bayfront Park 4:12.

We shot this in one full day of shooting in January of 2018. It took a full day to really capture the beauty of the Sarasota Area. We have become very familiar with Sarasota having shot many weddings here, so we knew exactly where to shoot. Our most popular aerial video was a video of Sarasota we shot 3 years ago in 2014. The skyline of Sarasota has changed in that time with the growth of this beautiful city on the Gulf Coast just south of Tampa. We shot this all in one day. We carefully chosed a day where it would be very sunny to show the beautiful variety of colors in the water.
