Winter in South Lake Tahoe

We did not have the weather in South Lake Tahoe we wanted.  We had planned 3 days of shooting, however the weather was constant rain all 3 days as part of one of the rainiest years in decades in Northern California.  We did find about 40 minutes where it was just a light mist and safe to fly.  We ended up leaving where we were able to get out because mudslides closed all the roads out of Lake Tahoe.  This allowed us more time in Utah which was a good move.  Despite the bad weather, Lake Tahoe is still beautiful.  We just would have loved to get shots of the sun glistening on the blue lake, but not to be this year.
